I took my tablet in to be repaired on the 27th December 2016 and was told it would take 2-3 working days. On the 4th January 2016 I called to follow up and was told it was in the workshop and would be ready on Wednesday (6th January 2016). I called them again on the Wednesday and was told the replacement part they ordered was faulty and it would only be ready on Friday (8th January 2016). On Friday I called them again, and surprise surprise, it was still not ready. I've been busy the last few days, and having heard nothing from the Samsung store called their repair centre directly today (15 January 2016). They advised me that they only received the device on the 5th January 2016 and that their turn around time is 2 weeks. I am appalled with Samsung's service - clearly customer service and satisfaction is not a priority! At this rate who knows if I'll ever get my device back.
